From The Beach Collection

From the Beach is a collection of hand painted pieces of wood and buoys, done by Outer Banks artist Gail Warner.  Gail spends time searching the shoreline for driftwood, old crabbing buoys and other unique flotsam. She then transforms these "gifts from the sea" into one-of-a-kind works of art.  As her finds are unique in their own way, so are her magnificent paintings.

About the Artist

A beach lover, Gail Warner moved to the Outer Banks in 1995 and fell in love with the natural beauty abounding in the area. She also discovered lighthouses! The awesome elegance of nature - and majestic, man-made lighthouses could be combined to produce wonderful pieces of art.

Working out of a studio in her home, and in her new Gallery in Nags Head, Gail also spends time searching the shoreline for driftwood, old crabbing buoys and other unique flotsam. She then transforms these "gifts from the sea" into one-of-a-kind works of art. 

Gail is a member of the Dare County Arts Council. Her paintings can be seen at The Gathering Place in Ocracoke, The Christmas Shop in Manteo, Mill Creek Gifts in Avon, and of course in the new Studio/Gallery/Store located one block south of the Lighthouse Gallery, on Memorial Drive at Gallery Row in Nags Head.
